He was the first son that God Almighty blessed the family of Ali (peace be upon him) and Fatima (peace be upon them). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) immediately after his birth, took him and said the call to prayer in his right ear and Iqamah in his left ear.
Then he sacrificed a sheep for him, shaved his head and gave silver to the poor equal to the weight of his hair – which was a dram and something extra. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered to anoint his head with perfume, and from then on, the ritual of aqeeqah and giving alms equal to the weight of a baby’s head became a tradition. He named this baby Hasan and this name had no history in Jahiliyyah. His nickname was Abu Muhammad, and this is his only nickname.

They established several governments in different parts of Islamic countries, some of which still exist.
